Call of Duty Black Ops PC Game free download

Call of Duty Black Ops download offers massive action. That the shooter also tries to tell a good story, however, is new. In fact, Black Ops convinces not only by a lot of Kawumm. The PC version in the test. Hochspannung. Yes, that word describes our feeling best when we launch Call of Duty: Black Ops for the first time. Not because we expect a nerve-wracking action thriller. He’s as safe as amen in church anyway. But because Activision Blizzard shooter sequel raises three questions.

Can the developer Treyarch shake off his reputation of always delivering the lame parts of the shooter series? Will Black Ops still outdo its already controversial predecessor Modern Warfare 2 in terms of violence? And is Call of Duty trying something new at the seventh start? We can answer two of these questions with a loud “yes.” We click on “New Game,” and the menu (a sparsely lit room filled with flickering monitors, as it might have come from the horror film Saw) seamlessly changes into the campaign. The blurred image moves hectically back and forth, we are strapped to a chair, suddenly an electric shock. “Wake up!” A distorted voice barks over the speaker.

It is followed by an interrogation, fall in the Russian names, is also a bio-weapon, and that we should supposedly know where it is. Numbers, places, goals, all that the ominous voice wants to hear from us. Or better from Alex Mason, the main actor of Black Ops. Unlike in the predecessors, we no longer all change the soldiers’ boots for a mile, but follow the story almost without exception through Mason’s eyes. This is new in Call of Duty, and we can suddenly identify much better with the story, feel for ourselves what moves the hero. Even more: Through constantly rehearsed, rapidly cut remnants of the brand Bourne identity, we learn to know Mason gradually, learn what has been done to him and why he now tied up in a chair squats. It all started in Cuba, he coughs. When we should kill Fidel Castro.

Call of Duty: Black Ops plays during the Cold War and sends us to Cuba and the USSR via Vietnam, Hong Kong and Laos to the Gulf of Mexico. Mason, a highly decorated US soldier, is commissioned by President Kennedy himself, to find and ensure a secret bio-weapon called Nova 6. In the process, however, it quickly becomes clear that there is far more to it than familiar people are involved and that Mason is the key to all of this. At this point we do not want to reveal more, because from the well-placed turns and above all the final Black Ops draws a large part of its motivation. Clearly, the story of bio-weapons, betrayals and evil Russians is not really innovative, but Treyarch knows the player now at least better than in previous Call of Duty parts by the story at the bar to keep.

This is not only because of Mason’s interrogation, which keeps the framework together and reveals constantly exciting details, but also in the typical way of telling all dialogues and events in lavishly animated script events from the first person perspective. This creates from the beginning a veritable intoxication, which – also there remains true Call of Duty – unfortunately already after a maximum of six hours is over again. But the short playing time Treyarch has filled with loads of spectacle. At night, we shoot through Hue City, which has just been hit by a bombardment, flee only armed with a knife from a Russian high-security prison or even pick up a launcher from the sky at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

Time to breathe deeply leaves us the larger than life, almost perfectly choreographed action scenes. In a chase, for example, we first heat up a steppe with a motorcycle and shoot like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 with a shotgun on opponents, then climb with 150 things first in a truck and then even on a moving train, while around us many jeeps and motorcycles explode, just as bearable.

Although Black Ops is not without blunt Moorhuhn deposits, but they are limited and not as yawning protracted as in Medal of Honor. Abandoned belong, however, the endless rushing enemy waves that stop only when we pass a certain place or press a switch. It bothers us twice that the program keeps us quiet, when it makes sense to move forward or if you prefer to take cover. In general, the enemy AI is more typical of mass than mass. In addition, the guys run when they can not find cover, usually blindly towards us or remain rooted to the spot. Here Call of Duty has been spinning for years on the spot.
