R.E.P.O. Is a co-op horror sport in which the legal guidelines of physics rule the arena. But no longer a totally everyday international. The game was developed by the independent studio semiwork and, like the aforementioned popular titles, offers a close-up voice chat.

You can play with a group of up to six people and go on a terrifying expedition with your friends to find valuable items. You then have to take these items back with you to finally satisfy the desires of your creator.

The theme used in R.E.P.O. is therefore very similar to that of Lethal Company. The difference, however, is the aforementioned physics, which affects monsters, objects and the players themselves. 

Grabbing objects

This can help with lifting larger objects such as TVs, but every time you accidentally hit an object with a wall or another player, it loses its value. There are, of course, evil monsters. There is little world building, character development or dialogues here, at least in its current state of early access.

As Silent Hill style mannequins that stumble around on spindly, deadly limbs; a horde of giggling gnomes; and a blind man with a shotgun and an itchy trigger finger.

Robots and mechanics

One of the most endearing parts of Repo must be the robots, sardine-like player characters who talk like Canadians from South Park. The proximity chat feature makes the character’s jaw drop depending on how loudly you speak into the microphone.

Like other cooperative horror games, Lethal Company, Content Warning and Phasmophobia, Repo is a roguelike game, which means you keep running until everyone is dead or you reach the limit.

Monsters

R.E.P.O. Download PC full of creative and deadly monsters, like any good chaotic cooperative horror game. Some of the monsters are more aggressive than others, and some even try to kill you out of politeness.

Fans praise the design of the opponents, the physics-based mechanics and the addictive gameplay. It makes for a really good and fun cooperative experience without feeling like just another horror movie clone.

Missions

The real tension comes after you have collected enough valuables and reached the limit. You will have to carefully move your cart onto a platform that activates after a short countdown. Make sure you are not standing on the platform once it activates to avoid a short life.

This mechanic is really what sets one of the most intense moments in the game. The game focuses on the basic gameplay loop, leaving much of the narrative context open for players to interpret as they navigate haunted locations.

Modes

In fact, R.E.P.O. has some flaws that many players hope to fix. One of them was the limitation of public matchmaking because there was no system available.

Although it cannot be said to be a breakthrough, it will be better for everyone if the game is open to solo players. Moreover, there have also been occasional bugs and technical problems.

Summary

Of course, rummaging thru the remains of humanity become not without headaches. Creepy mutant humans and other demons roam the corridors, so dropping a piano or a set of beautiful porcelain will mean more than just a quote.

The physics in the game mean that you have to be extra careful when sneaking or transporting goods, because you don’t know what’s around the corner.
