Synduality Echo of Ada is an upcoming production from Game Studio, published by Bandai Namco. The story takes us to a world devastated by a cataclysmic event, where humanity hid underground for centuries and is only now slowly returning to the surface to claim what is rightfully theirs.

Synduality Echo of Ada is a vision of the future depicting humanity on the threshold of extinction. All because of a poisonous rain that knocked out 90% of the population. Those who escaped with their lives have little reason to celebrate, for new creatures called Enders have appeared on Earth.

Because of this, humanity hides underground and only a few come to the surface. Players will take on the role of Drifters mech drivers, whose task is to travel the world and search for the necessary items for survival.

History of a forgotten civilization

While learning the history of a long-forgotten civilization. Drifters, however, do not travel alone, as each of them has a loyal android called Magus by his side, which helps in effective exploration.

In addition, each of the available types boasts a special skill that helps in expeditions. The Synduality Echo of Ada is a PvPvE game, but it’s worth noting that when you set off solo to one of the available locations, it’s not obvious whether you’ll meet other players.

Fun loop

The player gets a classic set of tasks: defeat an enemy, find an item or perform a specific action in a given location. After choosing one of the available maps, you get out from under the ground and theoretically you can head in any direction.

Theoretically, because initially exploration was surprisingly difficult. The return points in a given area always indicated the extremes of the location, and the limited capacity of the mech’s battery forced an efficient rhythm to reach the exit at all.

While several ideas are noteworthy and prove that the title has potential, the Game Studio working on it for Bandai Namco still needs to put in a lot of effort to make it a success.

For now, the production works well as an outing for a short virtual adventure with friends to pass a few challenges or acquire some valuable items. There will be a solid competitor in the extraction shooter market.
