Atomfall Download For PC
Atomfall is an interesting proposal from Rebellion, a studio known mainly for the Sniper Elite series. This time, you can expect a post-nuclear action game with survival and freedom of choice.
Atomfall Download for PC
As the developers emphasize, this survival game will approach the gameplay in a slightly different way, offering great freedom and no clear main storyline, as well as a subtle investigation into a nuclear disaster that took place five years before the events in Atomfall.
Add to that the picturesque landscapes and you have a game that stands out from the crowd. The following gameplay video emphasizes this even more. The player takes on the role of a character who is a blank slate in the quarantine zone, so there are basically no suggestions on how to play the game.
Become a model citizen
You can become a model citizen of the local community, as well as its blemish, or you can simply live the life of a lone wolf. Certain areas are controlled by military personnel using often controversial methods to maintain order during quarantine.
Outside the rural areas, there is lawlessness and you can come across bandits lurking around every corner. There are supposed to be plenty of places to explore, including underground facilities hiding dangerous secrets. We will find out how it all works in practice at the end of March.
Original themes
Atomfall Download PC a typical post-apocalyptic game in the sense that the world has not been turned into radioactive rubble. The problems only occur in a restricted area in Northern England where an industrial nuclear disaster occurred a few years ago.
The events are based on the true events of Windscale, which took place in 1957. In Atomfall, shooting plays an important role in the FPP camera, and here you can be sure of a good execution of this theme. The British studio has gained a lot of experience with the Sniper Elite series and has a perfect command of shooting with various guns.
An intriguing fusion of genres
Atomfall is not exactly an action RPG, but there is also room for many role-playing elements in the game. These include the presence of several rival factions, the possibility to chat with NPCs, and the undertaking of side quests by talking to the inhabitants of the restricted zone.
We have already visited various ruined areas of the USA several times, ventured into the Chernobyl zone, and now it’s time for a very British location. Atomfall serves up a vibe straight from the idyllic UK countryside.
Great freedom of action
Rebellion assures in interviews that the player’s freedom of action in Atomfall is so great that the game can be completed without killing a single person thanks to stealth or well-conducted conversations.
On the other hand, the world of Atomfall can also be turned into a total slaughterhouse. According to the authors, it is possible to kill practically every NPC, and we will reach the finale of the story by collecting the items and clues left behind. Rebellion is therefore preparing several possible endings to this story.
Summary
Atomfall looks like an interesting antidote to the monotony of Stalker 2. A promising world, lots of pop culture references, gameplay based on exploration, combat and conducting small investigations on the way to the truth about the biggest nuclear accident in the history of Great Britain.
Of course, based on the directed gameplay alone, it is difficult to draw specific conclusions poor technical condition or ill-considered design decisions, as well as the aforementioned random events, can quickly ruin the production. We will soon find out for ourselves, as we will be playing Atomfall.
