Everything blends well together to create a hard case for the genre. What sets Breachway apart is the consistent and well-executed graphical style that adds to the experience, giving it a very polished and high-quality feel in addition to the gameplay.
In addition to weapons, the player also has other systems such as shields and hacking. Shield cards can be played to give you some defense, and hacking cards can be used to influence your opponent’s deck, allowing you to remove a powerful card from the game.
Summary
Breachway has made a big impression. The number of different events and the variety therein, as most of the journeys simply ended with a battle rather than an exploration or diplomatic event. There are good gameplay mechanics, the game looks nice and there is already a decent amount of content.
