DRAGON BALL Sparking ZERO is actually the next installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series! An arena brawler featuring characters from one of the most popular anime, where the pace gets your head snapped off at the little finger, and special attacks with the power of an atomic bomb make a total splash on the boards.
DRAGON BALL Sparking ZERO Review
At first glance, it’s a formula that fans are very familiar with, it’s the scale and availability of characters that is the largest in the history of the series. In the main mode of play we do not fly freely around the world and explore more planets in instead we get Episode Battle.
That is, the opportunity to follow the most important events of the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super saga, but these are this time connected by storyline inserts of fights.
Non-canonical story
The difference is that at the very beginning we choose the character who will be at the center of events and whose fate we will direct. In the demo, it was initially Goku, who faced Raditz again, only to pair fists with Ōzaru in subsequent clashes.
Goku’s story at this fight, as the difficulty level was quite exorbitant and we only had 30 minutes of time. Goku will have these story episodes the most leading us all the way to the Tournament of Power.

When playing Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s story mode had a total of three chapters available. The first was the beginning of Z, where Raditz arrives on Earth, kidnaps little Gohan, and further on you know yourself what happened then.
If you don’t know, all the more reason I won’t go into major spoilers here. All I will say is that after playing Dragon Ball: Kakarot once again, which is strictly a role-playing game, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero raises the bar even higher.
Forge a new path
Win action packed battles from the original story or explore and unlock new battles for your favorite Z fighters and more. Re-live your beloved moments from the series with cinematic interludes that you can experience from the perspectives of up to eight characters! Fight for the championship title in a variety of tournament modes and rules.
Dragon Balls
The game features a store where you can unlock some characters and outfits with the money you earn, there’s also a training mode that teaches you the rules of the game on several levels, and even the possibility to perform various optional tasks and collect achievements.
There will also be collecting dragon balls and summoning wish-fulfilling dragons. However, have not been able to figure out how the mechanics work this time. Anyway, already at this stage one can say that the game hides a gargantuan potential.
Summary
It’s certainly a title geared more towards arena battles than a story-driven campaign straight out of Kakarot or Xenoverse, which were better suited to my taste as a single player.
Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO Download PC is undoubtedly a huge encyclopedia of knowledge for any fan of the series. Already filled with really solid content at launch, with striking visuals, destructible iconic arenas and the ability to create your own battles and scenarios.
